KZN Women pull their ‘peddle power’

The focus is on local girl Bianca Haw who rides as one of the favourites  racing at this year’s Sappi Scottburgh MTB Race.

The conditions will be ‘raw and untamed’ and the pace red-hot when the event takes place on Sunday, 13 August. From a racing perspective the pressure is most definitely going to be through the roof with a number of potential race winning candidates putting their names in the hat.

Bianca Haw, the 22 year-old from Underberg dominated at the Eston MTB Challenge last weekend and has her sights set on the MTB XCO World Championships next month.

There are three events taking place on Sunday with the elite riders and your seasoned riders taking on the 45km Marathon while there is a 28km Dash & Splash and a 10km Family Fun Ride to choose from.
